Papankusha Ekadashi is an auspicious day observed during the Shukla Paksha (waxing phase of the moon) in the Hindu month of Ashwin (September-October). The term "Papankusha" means the destroyer of sins, and it is believed that those who observe this Ekadashi are absolved of all their past sins and attain the blessings of Lord Vishnu.
