Varaha Abatara

Varaha Avatar of lord Vishnu  . Varaha Avatar, is one of the ten primary incarnations (avatars) of Lord Vishnu, according to Hindu mythology. In this incarnation, Lord Vishnu took the form of a boar (Varaha) to rescue the earth (Prithvi) from the demon Hiranyaksha.

According to the legends, Hiranyaksha, the demon, had taken the earth and hidden it deep in the cosmic ocean. The gods and sages approached Lord Vishnu for help, and in response, he assumed the form of Varaha, a gigantic boar with immense power.

Varaha descended into the depths of the ocean and fought a fierce battle with Hiranyaksha. The demon tried to defeat Varaha with his mighty strength, but Lord Vishnu, in the form of Varaha, overpowered him. Eventually, Varaha lifted the earth out of the ocean with his tusks and restored it to its rightful place.

The Baraha Avatar symbolizes Lord Vishnu's role as the preserver and protector of the universe. It represents the divine intervention to restore cosmic order and protect dharma (righteousness). This avatar is often depicted as a boar with a human-like body and a boar's head, usually with a discus (chakra) and a conch (shankha) in his hands.

The story of Varaha Avatar signifies the triumph of good over evil and the restoration of balance in the universe. It is a popular narrative in Hindu mythology and is celebrated and revered by devotees of Lord Vishnu
